Graduated Students in 2007
During 2007, eight of our students completed their academic curriculum obtaining a Licentiate in Theology with specialization in Ecumenical Studies.
On the 14th of February the following students undertook their final examination: Mr. Argenis Torres (Venezuela) and Mrs. Tiziana Bertola (Italy). Argenis presented his thesis titled: Serving the Kingdom: challenges and perspectives for ecumenism in Venezuela, while Mrs. Bertola developed the topic: For mortal souls?Ecumenism in the Encyclical Mortalium Animos of Pope Pious XI.
On the 15th of February it was Mr. Marco Scarpa's turn (Italy), his final presentation was: Slavic translations of Gregorius Palamass work in XVI century. Review of the codices. An initial development.
On the 28th of June Mr. Alin Tertecin (Romania) graduated with his thesis: Mary, Virgin Mother of God, a Model of Christian life. An ecumenical perspective.
Three more students graduated on the 26th of October. They are: Mr. Zoran Nedelojkovic (Serbia) who discussed the topic A bridge to build? The Roman Catholic Church and the Serbian Orthodox Church at the time of Vatican II (1959-1965); Mr. Angel Luque (Venezuela) who developed the topic A valid interlocutor? Pentecostalism in Venezuela. Analysis and proposals; and Mrs. Elisa Mantovani (Italy) who tackled the subject The Word of God as foundation of ecumenical spirituality in post-modern time.
Finally, Chung-Myung Son, sister Cecilia (Corea), graduated on the 13th of December with a thesis on The ecumenical walk in Korea: historic and sacramental view.
