Tha Master's degree comprises also a workshops activity (4 ECTS), a practical Stage (5 ECTS) and a writing the paper for the final examination (6 ECTS)
Master of Ecumenical Theology. Theological Foundations of Ecumenical dialogue
The Papal University Antonianum of Rome, under the initiative of the St. Bernardine Institute of Ecumenical Studies of Venice, opens the academic year 2009-2010 to the first level Master of Ecumenical Theology. Theological Foundations of Ecumenical dialogue. The course lasts one year with a total of 60 instructive tertiary credits corresponding to 1.500 hours.
The Master of Ecumenical Theology. Theological Foundations of Ecumenical dialogue provides a solid background in the field of Ecumenical Theology, beginning with the acquisition of a specific knowledge of instruments, sources and studies on Theology of Ecumenical dialogue. Particular attention will be given to current theological reflection in Ecumenism as it constitutes a fundamental reference point to the life of Christian Churches and communities for their evangelical testimony in contemporary society.
The Master's degree is tailored for:
- individuals with a bachelor's degree in Theology;
- individuals with a diploma in religious Science;
- teachers of Catholic Religion in lower and upper high Schools;
- graduate teachers with a title corresponding to a four years degree under the education regulations preceding the coming into force of D.M. 509 / 1999 or a specialist degree, working in a lower and upper high School;
- graduates of Schools for Secondary School Teaching.
The calendar of the Master's degree is conducted over one academic year. The lessons will be held at the St. Bernardine Institute of Ecumenical Studies of Venice beginning in October 2009 and ending in June 2010.
The Master's degree includes a mid year test as well as a final examination. Those who complete the course and pass the examinations will be awarded the title of first level university Master of Ecumenical Theology. Theological foundations of Ecumenical dialogue.
